I love to speak German! I earned a Bachelor of Arts in German Teaching from Brigham Young University in 1996. Part of my German education and experience included a summer internship in Berlin and an 18 month mission in Duesseldorf, Germany. During my University studies I worked as a German teacher at the Missionary Training Center, teaching German to missionaries who would be serving in German speaking countries. After graduating I taught German and English classes at the High School level for seven years. Since then I have volunteered teaching elementary school students beginning German in an after school program. I also have been teaching piano lessons for eight years. I love playing the piano, hiking with my family, and reading. I'm looking forward to using my experience to teach children the joy of speaking German.
